The goal is to focus on work at the highest caliber of quality and to provide clients with elegant and creative solutions to challenging problems.

Keen Eye Build specializes in remodels, additions, and new construction. Areas of focus include kitchens, baths, and cabinetry. PROJECTS
Tylo Residence
This mid-century modern kitchen experienced an amazing makeover by incorporating an adjacent, little used ‘family room’. Artful storage was built into the end of the fireplace as part of the beverage peninsula.

The master bathroom and closet creates specific his / her areas by cleverly splitting the accessibility of a floating vanity island. He approaches from one side, her from the other, with sinks, faucets and mirrors appropriately configured. The double sided mirrors service the closet areas and they swivel so all angles are visible. The contemporary Asian jewelry box result is amazing.
Bloudek Kitchen
This historic 1912 residence had a kitchen stuck in 1970, with original buttercup Formica countertops and vinyl flooring. Better, it was discovered that the ceiling had been dropped, with the potential for sky-high vaulted ceilings and a skylight to bring more natural light into the space. Nothing was plumb or square and the East wall was sagging.

An angled beam was fabricated on site to match the angle of the new ceiling and support the East wall. Oak flooring to match the original wing of the house replaced the vinyl. Fully custom solid wood cabinetry with fully integrated appliances fit the age of the home and surround the entire kitchen, sprawling into a pantry and bar. Soapstone countertops pair with modern hand-painted designer tile to merge old and new. The built-in bar, glass cabinets, and pantry window are fitted with custom leaded glass, and integrated wine storage antique solid brass hardware.
To top off the look, the ceiling was finished with individually-placed planks of bead board from crown to peak, stretching over 15 feet high. The resulting chef's kitchen with artful styling and flawless craftsmanship is truly exceptional.
